Go for gold at the Batavia Park District's Wacky Water Olympics

BATAVIA – Children can channel their inner Michael Phelps and go for gold at the Batavia Park District's Wacky Water Olympics at Harold Hall Quarry Beach, 400 S. Water St., from 12:30 to 4 p.m. June 17.

Participants will enjoy a variety of water games and activities, and between event, they can compete in relay races, a water balloon toss, and other splash-tastic games. Prizes will be awarded after each activity. The Quarry mascot, Chuck the Duck, is scheduled to make an appearance.

Participation in Wacky Water Olympics is included in the price of admission for all Quarry attendees on the day of the event. Daily admission to the Quarry is $8 for residents and $11 for non-residents. Season passes will be accepted.

The Quarry will also host Beach Ball Bonanza from 12:30 tp 4 p.m. July 18 and So Long Summer & Swim from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9.
