In announcing their latest venture, they describe the space as unique, offering not only separate casual and formal dining, but also a takeaway section with a walk-up window on the north side of the building for a quick coffee or bite to go.
With a focus on local sourcing of ingredients, she said they feature such dishes as an artisan cheese board with preserves, fresh and dried fruit, honeycomb, spiced nuts and crackers; turkey and sweet potato meatballs with goat cheese polenta, garlic onion jam, maitake mushrooms and rosemary pistou; a hemp seed waffle with whipped coconut yogurt, pressed seasonal fruit, buckwheat walnut crumble, maple and rum; and a figgy green salad with togarashi salmon.
A recent special was potato and chive gnocchi with smoked Arctic char, champagne cream sauce, trout roe, Meyer lemon, pickled mustard seed and chicory.
"We run specials that feature fun innovative creations from our chef," Ashley Marquez said.
Moveable Feast procures fish from companies that support wild fisheries and aquaculture.
"We smoke and grill our meats in-house," she added.
