ST. CHARLES – The Fox River Business Alliance and the Midwest Jeep Alliance are hosting the first annual Jeep Crusade for a Cause event from 1 to 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at Fix Auto, 1214 Foundry St., St. Charles. Tickets are $10. The event will feature a family-friendly showcase of Jeeps of all models, food and drink provided by Blue Goose Market, music by Jerry Renda, a 50/50 raffle and live auctions for Jeep specialty items.

Funds raised from the event will benefit Random Acts Matter of St. Charles, Horsepower Therapeutic Riding of Maple Park and Gigi's Playhouse of the Fox Valley.

“We’re excited to get hundreds of Jeep owners together for such a great cause,” stated event organizer Chantelle DeNicolo, in a news release. “It’s incredibly exciting to see all of these Jeepsters come together with their amazing vehicles for an event like this.”

The St. Charles Police Department will accompany a convoy of Jeeps at 12:30 Aug. 17 on Main Street from Kirk Road to Randall Road. The convoy starts at Charlestowne Mall.
