GENEVA — Fabyan Island, part of Fabyan Forest Preserve in Geneva, will be closed Oct. 14, for trail repaving, officials announced in a news release.
The repaving is part of a larger project to install a bridge and remove the causeway, at the site.
During the island closure, there will be no way to cross the Fox River by trail to reach the opposite side of the preserve.
The Fabyan Island and trail are expected to reopen to the public on Oct. 15.
