Family reading night with the judges to take place Nov. 20

The Kane County Law Library and Self Help Legal Center, in cooperation with the Kane County Sixteenth Judicial Circuit, will host its 21st annual Family Reading Night with the Judges from from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in the Kane County Law Library and Self Help Legal Center inside the Kane County Judicial Center,  37W777 Route 38, St. Charles Township.
The Kane County Law Library and Self Help Legal Center, in cooperation with the Kane County Sixteenth Judicial Circuit, will host its 21st annual Family Reading Night with the Judges from from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in the Kane County Law Library and Self Help Legal Center inside the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles Township.

ST. CHARLES TOWNSHIP – The Kane County Law Library and Self Help Legal Center, in cooperation with the Kane County Sixteenth Judicial Circuit, will host its 21st annual Family Reading Night with the Judges from from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in the Kane County Law Library and Self Help Legal Center inside the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles Township.

Children in second grade or younger are welcome to wear their pajamas to hear associate judges Bradley David, Charles Petersen and Julia Yetter share their favorite bedtime stories. Snacks will also be available and participants will have the chance to tour a courtroom and sit in a judge's chair,

Attorney Monica Patankar, winner of the 2019 Miss Illinois for America pageant, will make a special guest appearance during this event. Family Reading Night is an annual statewide event sponsored by the Illinois Secretary of State and State Librarian, Jesse White, and Illinois Center for the Book.
