GENEVA – LivingWell Cancer Resource Center in Geneva is seeking volunteers to make head wraps for patients who have lost their hair due to treatment from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

According to a news release, head wraps are very popular items at the center, which makes it difficult for LivingWell to keep them stocked.

The drop-in event will feature holiday music, cookie decorating for children, hot cocoa and coffee. Volunteer stations will be available for all ages, and include sewing, cutting fabric, pinning, art stations for kids and packaging completed wraps. The event also includes tours of the facility every hour.

The event was organized by local resident and business owner Kristin Bodnar and her daughter, Braelynn, 10.
