BATAVIA – The Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation will host an open house from 7 to 9 p.m. on Jan. 28 at Bar Evolution in downtown Batavia, 27 N. River St., according to a news release from the foundation.

The release states that the event is a casual way for prospective new members to get to know more about the club, the club’s mission, and the women in the club.

Current members will be available to answer any questions and provide information. Club activities include community fundraisers, recreational activities for moms, couples and families, play groups for moms and kids and more. Members meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. from September through May, usually at the Batavia Public Library. The next meeting is at the Batavia Public Library on Feb. 5.
