BLACKBERRY TOWNSHIP – Geneva School District 304 is inviting parents of young children to an open house of its preschool program, Geneva Early Learning, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at Fabyan Elementary School, 0S350 Grengs Lane, Blackberry Township.

The program is a five-day per week, tuition-based program for preschool students 3 and up who are not yet kindergarten eligible. The program is open to residents of the school district, officials announced in a news release.

The program is designed to promote the emotional, physical, social and developmental readiness needs of children through purposeful and constructive play, the release stated.

It is staffed by state-certified early childhood teachers and uses a research-based curriculum and assessments.

The program focuses on teaching young students through developmentally appropriate practices, while developing positive self-concept, enhancing creativity, and enriching each student’s life socially, intellectually, and emotionally, according to its website, www.www.geneva304.org.
