Elburn Chamber of Commerce to host first annual Elburn Health Fair

The Elburn Chamber of Commerce is having a a free health fair for the public hosted by the Elburn Lions Club on Feb. 22. Several community business will be available to help answer your questions. Activities include CPR demos, free children's eye screenings, blood pressure checks, car seat checks, VA benefits and more.
The Elburn Chamber of Commerce is having a a free health fair for the public hosted by the Elburn Lions Club on Feb. 22. Several community business will be available to help answer your questions. ELBURN – The Elburn Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first annual Elburn Health Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Elburn Lions Club, 500 Filmore St., Elburn.

According to a news release, the health fair will feature local businesses and organizations including the Elburn Lions Club, the Elburn American Legion Post 630, Pound 4 Pound Fitness, Railside Charities, Bill Brauer, Edward Jones, St. Gall Health Ministries, Northwestern Healthcare, Vital Wellness, GNC Live Well Batavia, the Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District, the Elburn Parks Commission, Elburn Chiropractic and Acupuncture, Stephanie Butler, Attorney at Law, St. Gall Health Ministry, yoga instructor Tracy Leach, Waubonsee Health Career Program, Athletico Physical Therapy, Red Phoenix Nutrition, Nicor Gas, Geneva Running Outfitters, Fox Valley Essential Wellness, Massage Tara Bella, New York Life and Fox Valley Community Services.

The release states that the businesses and organizations all support the physical, emotional, spiritual, social and financial health of the community.

Some of the planned activities include car seat checks, blood pressure checks and vision screenings.
