
Teens invited to program on suicide awarenessKANE COUNTY CHRONICLE ST. CHARLES -- A concert aimed at raising money for suicide prevention programs and suicide awareness among teens is scheduled for Nov. 28 at the Arcada Theatre. The event, which will begin at 7 p.m., is in honor of Caitlyn Bailey, a St. Charles East senior. Proceeds from the memorial concert will go toward the Yellow Ribbon Teen Suicide Awareness Program, which is promoted by Suicide Prevention Services in Batavia. Live music will be played, and Mari Wittum from Suicide Prevention Services will speak. Parents and community members are encouraged to attend along with students. Admission is $5. Tickets are available at the St. Charles Police Department and St. Charles City Hall or at the door.
