Albright Theatre Company plans auditions for 'Skyscraper'

BATAVIA — Albright Theatre Company will hold auditions for "Skyscraper" by David Auburn at 7:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday at The Albright Theatre on the third floor of the Batavia Government Center, 100 N. Island Ave.

The play is the story six strangers whose worlds collide on the rooftop of a crumbling, historic skyscraper on the eve of its demolition. The dark comedy tells these six people’s lives are changed as they discover the threads that connect them to Chicago, the building and to each other.

The cast consists of three men ages 20-110 and three women ages 20-40. Auditions will be of cold readings from the script. Performances will be Feb. 27, 28, Mar. 1, 6-8 and 13-14.
