College names Bell new dean

SUGAR GROVE – Elizabeth Bell of Oswego was recently appointed by the board of trustees to the position of Waubonsee Community College Dean for Campus Development.

Her appointment was effective Jan. 1.

Bell has more than 10 years of experience in higher education administration, having held positions in the areas of facilities management, student housing, residence life programs and student development.

She joined Waubonsee’s staff in January 2008 as the college’s Lead Site Manager and was named the Acting Dean for Campus Development in April 2008.  

Bell holds a master’s degree in college student services administration from Oregon State University and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Whitworth College.
