Kane County Sheriff reports

• Rigoberto Romero, 35, of White Pine Lane in St. Charles, was cited June 27 for driving on a revoked license, speeding, and failure to wear a seat belt on June 27. Police said a deputy detected Romero driving a car 77 mph in a 55-mph zone near Route 64 and Fox Mill Boulevard in Campton Township.

• Robert Huffman, 20, of Woodland Court in St. Charles, was cited June 27 with marijuana possession, improper lane usage, driving on a revoked license and resisting arrest. About 3:19 a.m., a deputy saw Huffman turn left on a red light near Route 31 and Randall Road, police said. When the deputy tried to pull over Huffman’s vehicle, he wouldn’t stop and then got out of the car and began to ran, police said. The deputy caught up with him near the 6N200 block of Route 31.

• Daniel W. Schremser, 21, of Cloverfield Circle in St. Charles, was cited for possession of marijuana on June 21. Police said a deputy saw Schremser driving a car near Prairie and Fourth streets in St. Charles, weaving in and out of lanes. When stopped, the deputy conducted a canine search and found three bags of marijuana, police said.

• Jorge Guerrero-Munoz, 23, of Adeline Drive in Elgin, was cited for drunken driving on June 27. Police said a deputy responded to reports of reckless driving near Randall Road and Red How Lane and found Guerrero-Munoz driving a vehicle 17 mph in a 50-mph zone. When stopped, the deputy saw a beer can by Guerrero-Munoz’s leg and found another empty can on the floor of the car.
