St. Charles police reports
• Erik R. Bennett, 29, of the 700 block of Derby Course, St. Charles, was arrested, Sunday, Oct. 4, on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear on charges of driving under the influence.
• Carol E. Russell, 69, of the 200 block of North Tyler Road, St. Charles, was charged Sunday, Oct. 4, with driving under the influence, having a blood alcohol greater than .08 percent and driving too fast for conditions.
• Ardell J. Brown, 22, no address listed by police, was charged Sunday, Oct. 4, with obstructing a police officer by giving him someone else's name. Brown was also arrested on warrants from Will and DuPage counties.
• Leena M. Moreno, 19, of the 0-100 block of South Crystal Street, Elgin, was charged Tuesday, Sept. 22, with retail theft of $164 in clothing from Kohl's, 3840 E. Main St. Also charged was Tania Isunza, 19, of the 700 block of Grace Street, Elgin, with retail theft of $98 worth of clothing.
• Joseph T. Gardner, 28, of the 45W0-100 block of Big Timber Road, Hampshire, was arrested, Monday, Sept. 28, on a warrant from Rockford police in connection with battery charges.
• Adrian J. Allen, 17, of the 500 block of Elite Avenue, West Chicago, was charged Monday, Sept. 28, with retail theft of $110 in clothing from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St.
• A lawnmower valued at $556 and a snow thrower valued at $300 were stolen Tuesday, Sept. 22, from a driveway on the 1000 block of South Second Street, as they were left outside because the homeowner cleaned the garage floor and was waiting for it to dry.
