Kane County Sheriff's police reports

• A St. Charles area resident reported on Oct. 22 that he received a notice for an unpaid electric bill from ComEd in the amount of $561.90 for an Elgin home that he never lived in. Police are investigating the incident as a financial identity theft.

• A Geneva area woman on Oct. 12 reported to Sheriff's police that someone forged her name on documents to sell stocks in the amount of about $73,000.

• James N. Jackalone, 21, of the 3700 block of Fox Ridge Court, Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence. He was also cited for driving without lights and operating an uninsured vehicle.
