Batavia police reports

• Saul Martinez, 20, of the 1200 block of North King Cross, West Chicago, was charged Wednesday, Oct. 28, with driving without a valid license, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

• A boy’s bicycle was taken Wednesday, Oct. 28, from the driveway of a house in the 200 block of Blair Street.

• A custom sound system, a GPS navigational system, shoes, clothing and a digital camera valued at $2,720 were taken Tuesday, Oct. 27, from a car parked in the 1100 block of Shabbona Trail. There were no signs of forced entry.

• Timothy A. Jeffries, 21, of the 1300 block of East Wilson Street, Batavia, was charged Monday, Oct. 26, with obstructing justice.

• Karah M. Deutsch, 22, of the 200 block of North Washington Street, was charged Saturday, Oct. 24, with aggravated battery with a weapon and aggravated battery in a public way.

• A saw valued at $350 was taken Saturday, Oct. 24, from a truck parked in the 1000 block of Shabbona Trail.

• Tools valued at $350 were taken Saturday, Oct. 24, from a garage in the 300 block of First Street.

• John P. Landry, 17, of the 39W600 block of Harvey Square, Geneva, was charged Friday, Oct. 23, with possession of alcohol and possession of an open bottle of alcohol.
