• A vehicle burglary was reported to Sheriff's police on Oct. 30. The owner of a truck parked in the 35W200 block of Pinelands Road near St. Charles told police that items were stolen from the vehicle. Although the truck was locked, a window was left slightly open, police said. The owner has yet to say what was missing from the truck.

• A resident who lives just outside St. Charles reported that about $300 worth of unauthorized charges showed up on a debit card. The charges occurred Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.
