Nominations will be posted on KCChronicle.com/athlete-of-the-month on the first day of the voting period of every month. Online voting will take place between the first and third weeks of the month on KCChronicle.com and StCharlesToyota.net. Only one vote every 24 hours will be accepted per user.

A student may be disqualified from the Athlete of the Month contest for the following reasons: 1) The athlete is expelled from or leaves a participating school. 2) The athlete becomes academically ineligible.

A nominee may be voted Athlete of the Month only once during the course of a school year.

Each Athlete of the Month will receive a plaque. Each Athlete of the Month’s school will receive a monetary donation from St. Charles Toyota, which will be delivered to the school at a mutually agreed upon time between Kane County Chronicle, St. Charles Toyota, and the school.

By participating in the Athlete of the Month contest, athletes and their guardians agree to the terms of the contest and release Kane County Chronicle, St. Charles Toyota, and participating schools of all claims related to the contest and contest prizes.
