Gardenfest 2011 "Ready, Set, Grow"

Gardenfest 2011 "Ready, Set, Grow" is schedule for Saturday, April 9, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at McHenry County College, located at 8900 U. S Highway 14, in Crystal Lake. Gardenfest is Co-sponsored by McHenry County College and the Master Gardeners of McHenry County with the University of Illinois Extension. If you are looking to improve your "green" thumb, or if you are a seasoned gardener, you'll benefit from over 30 Gardenfest workshops to fill your day with education, information and new ideas. Enjoy the keynote address by Terra Brockman who will present "Your Food Choices: Changing the World One Meal at a Time." $40 Public and $15 Students, fee includes lunch (additional fees for hands-on labs).
