Teen Tech Week @ Cary Library

Celebrate Teen Tech Week at the Cary Area Public Library from Sunday, March 6 through Saturday, March 12. Some programs (registration required) include a visit by the "Game It Up" mobile gaming unit (signed parent waiver required to play)from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on March 8, and Scratch Video Game Design ($10 fee--register in person) from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on March 7 & 9 (it's a two-day class). To wrap up the week, members of TAB (Teen Advisory Board) will hold a read-a-thon in the library on Saturday, March 12 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to raise money for the Cary-Grove Food Pantry (they'll be reading children's books). Cash donations will be accepted for the Food Pantry. For more information or to register for these programs, call the library at (847) 639-4210 during regular hours.
