Meet gorgeous Alice who, sadly was abandoned at the door step of Anderson Animal Shelter May 2010. This lovely tortoiseshell is now about eight years old and has beautiful round golden eyes. She loves attention and loves a good chin scratching. Alice is very sweet gal who just needs a home to call her own. Unfortunately, we have discovered that Alice is diabetic. However, we are able to keep it controlled by feeding her a diet of Friskies turkey and giblets. If you are considering inviting a special kitty in to your home and heart, please consider Alice. June is Adopt-A-Shelter -Cat month & we are celebrating all month long by waiving the adoption fee for all of our wonderful & deserving long-term (residing at the shelter one year or longer) feline residents! To change their luck, all you need to do is fall in love!

For more information on Alice, or any of our other animals, please visit our website or call us at 847-697-2880 or stop in during our open hours. Anderson Animal Shelter is located at 1000 S. LaFox in South Elgin. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all their vaccinations prior to adoption.
