ROSELLE – One St. Charles North runner called this season’s track team one of the best he’s ever been a part of. And though a fourth-place finish at the Upstate Eight Conference Boys Track and Field Meet on Thursday wasn’t the top prize, the North Stars were still happy with the results.
SYCAMORE – Lexi Roach hit a two-run double and Allyson O’Herron bashed a two-run home run on Thursday as the Kaneland softball team rallied past Sycamore for a 6-4 win.
MAPLE PARK – The Kaneland girls soccer team shut out Sycamore for the second straight day, but this time the Knights scored a goal, defeating the Spartans, 1-0, in Wednesday’s regular season finale.
