FoxFire Tavern Hosts "Falling In Love" Wine Dinner on February 11th!

SPONSORED

In February, the spirit of love is in the air.  To celebrate Valentine's Day and the special feeling of falling in love, FoxFire Tavern is hosting a "Falling In Love" Wine Dinner on Tuesday, February 11th at 6:30 p.m.  Reservations are required, and seating is limited.

"We'll offer a five-course meal, and pair each course with a delicious wine," explained Samantha Donovan, Party & Event Coordinator for FoxFire Tavern.  "Guests are welcome to sign up online or call FoxFire to reserve their spot."

This special event is part of the Fox River Sippers Club, which offers discounts on dinners and other items throughout the year. "We're developing a schedule where we'll offer a wine dinner, a beer dinner or tasting, and one Bartender class each month," said K.C. Gulbro, Chef and owner of FoxFire.  "We have an amazing staff and terrific wines; this is our way of showcasing what FoxFire has to offer!"

Gulbro likens discovering wines to painting a picture.  "When tasting wine, each flavor is a different brushstroke," he said.  "Together, the brushstrokes create a beautiful painting.  Once you break down individual flavors in a wine, you can pair an entree with it. Our pairings are fairly simple, and our wine dinners are for both the novice and the pro.  Our guests will be very comfortable with the delicious dishes and wines."

First dates inspired the meal and wine pairings.  "Going to the fair or carnival, or grabbing pizza downtown, offers an interesting theme," added Gulbro.  "We've taken these experiences and elevated them to steakhouse standards.  The dishes and wines will both spark an old memory and make a new one at the same time."

Guests will start with Kiara Bella, a sparkling wine.  The subsequent wine selections include  Results of a Crush, Touchy-Feely, Primal Scream, and Beauty of Three, all paired with delicious dishes that will delight any foodie.  For more information, or to make reservations, please contact:
