Anderson Animal Shelter takes in animals from shelters affected by Hurricane Harvey

Lisa Karlov, resource development and finance director at Anderson Animal Shelter, talks about the animals the St. Charles Township has taken in from shelters affected by Hurricane Harvey. The transported animals make room in those shelters for displaced pets.

Campton Hills resident Pete Olsen has a warning for those motorists who choose to drive past his daughter's school bus as it is waiting for passengers – stop before somebody gets killed. Not only has he witnessed it, he also has captured some of the violations on video, including a video of a tree trimming truck driving past the bus while it is at the bus stop.
