NORTH AURORA – Illinois State Police on Monday did not release any new information about a crash involving a motorcycle and a semitrailer truck that happened at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Interstate 88 and Route 31 in North Aurora.

The agency continues to investigate the crash. The motorcyclist was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove by the North Aurora Fire Department.

North Aurora Fire Capt. Adam Miller said the truck driver did not need to go to a hospital.

Miller said he did not know the condition of the motorcyclist.

The right and center lanes of I-88 and Route 31 had been closed immediately after the crash.

No one has been charged in the crash while it remains under investigation.
