McDonald, who finished with 115 yards and three TDs on 11 carries, broke free for a 38-yard touchdown run midway through the second quarter, and then went to work through the air in the second half.
After finishing 2 of 4 passing for 8 yards in the first half, McDonald completed passes of 11, 31 and 14 yards to start the third quarter – the last of which running back Danny Daigle turned into a touchdown for a 21-6 lead.
"We saw some things they were doing defensively that we thought we could take advantage of," C-G coach Brad Seaburg said. "They were really selling out on our run, and we felt we could get behind them a little bit.
"Ben played a fantastic game. He had some tough, gritty runs and really did a great job."
