ST. CHARLES – If you can't be in Champaign on Saturday to watch the historic football matchup between St. Charles North High School and Nazareth Academy, perhaps the next best place to see the action is on a 40-foot high definition screen at the Arcada Theatre in downtown St. Charles.

The North Stars will take on Nazareth Academy at 4 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Champaign. The team is the first St. Charles football team to advance to a state championship game.

The Arcada Theatre, located at 105 E. Main St. in downtown St. Charles, will hold a free viewing party at 4 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Chicago.

One will also be able to grab a bite to eat while watching the game at other St. Charles establishments, including Alley 64 at 212 Main St. and McNally's Irish Pub at 109 W. Main St.

The game is not the only talk of the town that day, however. The 2018 Electric Christmas Parade will take place at 5:30 p.m. Saturday between 6th Street and 4th Avenue on Main Street in downtown St. Charles.
