GENEVA – The Geneva History Museum will host its annual Merry Mixer Cocktail Party Fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 13 at the museum, 113 S. Third St., Geneva, according to a news release.
Reservations are $35 per person, or $30 per museum member and include appetizers and one drink ticket.
The event includes appetizers, music beer, wine, cocktails with raffle prizes drawn every 15 minutes.
Stockholm’s Brew Pub will supply the beer, Fox River Distilling Company will make cocktails and The Little Traveler will provide the wine.
All proceeds go toward the conservation and preservation efforts of the 18th century Neapolitan Créche originally purchased by Kate Raftery, who started The Little Traveler.
Raftery displayed the Créche each holiday season in the antique room and viewing it has become a Geneva tradition.
The evening includes stories of the symbolisms found in the Créche display, including a tavern, shepherds hills, street vendors and animals.
