Waubonsee Community College hosts free events at "First Fridays" in downtown Aurora on Dec. 7

Learn the techniques of making ceramic art, watch a silk-screening demonstration and listen to music from the Waubonsee Jazz Combo and the Eric Binder Jazz Group, all courtesy of Waubonsee Community College at this weekend’s First Fridays on Dec. 7 in downtown Aurora.

The free events will be held on the college’s Aurora Downtown Campus, and in addition to the ceramics demonstration, pieces from the Waubonsee Ceramic Club will be on sale. The music performances take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the campus library.

Waubonsee Community College offers many ways and opportunities to study art and music. Classes are available for credit, as well as for personal enrichment. Visit www.waubonsee.edu to learn more and to register for classes.
