Kane County Audubon Society welcomes special guest speaker to monthly meeting

The Kane County Audubon Society welcomes storyteller and author Brian "Fox" Ellis to its montly meeting at 7 p.m. on Feb. 13 at the Hickory Knolls Discovery Center in St. Charles.

Ellis, who will perform in the persona of John James Audubon, will discuss history, ecology, art and literature in his presentation that celebrates the life of the artist and naturalist.

Hickory Knolls Discovery Center is located in James O. Breen Community Park, at the intersection of Campton Hills and Peck roads in St. Charles.

Kane County Audubon is the local chapter of the Illinois Audubon Society and meets at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month September through May atáHickory Knolls Discovery Center.
