League of Women Voters to host 3 candidate forums

TriCity hopefuls in April 2 election to be featured

The League of Women Voters of Central Kane County is hosting a series of three candidate forums ahead of the April 2 consolidated election, the agency announced in a news release.

A candidate forum for Batavia school board, library board and aldermanic races will take place at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 at Batavia City Hall, 100 N. Island Ave., Batavia.

The candidate forum for Geneva school board, library board and contested aldermanic races will take place at 7 p.m. March 6 at Geneva Middle School North, 1357 Viking Dr, Geneva.

The candidate forum for St. Charles school board and the contested 1st Ward aldermanic race will be at 7 p.m. March 14 at the Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, 307 Cedar Ave., St. Charles.

The League of Women Voters of Central Kane County serves Aurora, Batavia, Campton Hills, Elburn, Geneva, North Aurora, St. Charles, Sugar Grove and surrounding areas.
