Schory: Where did you grow up?

Elliott: Geneva

Schory: Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Elliott: Elizabeth McGovern

Schory: First job?

Elliott: I was a clerk at Henry’s, a store that used to be in Geneva.

Schory: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Elliott: I wanted to be a teacher. I became a medical technologist, then I got a master’s degree in special education.

Schory: Series you would recommend?

Elliott: “Anne With an E” on Netflix

Schory: Favorite charity?

Elliott: Geneva History Museum

Schory: Favorite ice cream flavor?

Elliott: Butter pecan

Schory: Favorite local restaurant?

Schory: What is an interesting fact about yourself?

Elliott: I met Maria von Trapp in 1980 when we stayed at the Trapp Family Lodge.
