Schory: Where did you grow up?

Korky: St. Charles

Schory: How come no last name?

Korky: Like Cher, I only use one name. Everybody knows me as Korky.

Schory: Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Korky: Robert De Niro from “Dirty Grandpa”

Schory: First job?

Korky: Lawn mowing

Schory: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Korky: A professional baseball player. I drive for Coke.

Schory: Television series you would recommend?

Korky: “America’s Got Talent”

Schory: Favorite charity?

Korky: The Salvation Army

Schory: Favorite ice cream flavor?

Korky: Chocolate chip

Schory: Favorite local restaurant?

Korky: St. Charles Place

Schory: What is an interesting fact about yourself?

Korky: When I was 5, the car I was riding in was hit by a Cessna airplane. When I was 8, I was pulled out of a burning garage. And when I was 30, I survived a head-on car crash.
