• Kyle J. Krol, 40, of the 100 block of West Park Avenue, Sugar Grove, was charged March 10 with domestic battery. According to police reports, the victim said she got into a verbal argument with Krol over a social media post. The argument escalated to where Krol allegedly tackled her to the ground causing injuries to her right arm, left hip, left knee, left elbow and upper chest area, reports stated. Krol said she injured herself slipping on ice when she tried to throw his computer monitor in the snow, battered him and struck him on the right side of his head, reports stated.
• A package containing Nike tennis shoes valued at $100 and three blouses valued at $175 were reported stolen March 9 from a mailbox in the 200 block of Belle Vue Court, Sugar Grove.
• Dominik P. Rogacewicz, 33, of the 100 block of Catalpa Avenue, Wood Dale, was charged March 2 with felony possession of more than 100 grams of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a police officer. Rogacewicz was also issued a written warning for speeding 69 miles an hour in a 55 mph zone, reports stated.
• A resident of the 800 block of Myers Road, Sugar Grove, reported on Dec. 9 that someone used her personal information to rent a property and charged $6,308 to her credit card. She reported it to police so she can dispute the charge with her credit card company, reports stated.
