Crimes reported in Batavia


• William T. Fixmer, 19, of the 500 block of Pinewood Drive, North Aurora, was charged April 6 with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, underage drinking, squealing tires, driving on the sidewalk, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to give information after striking property – a telephone pole – records show. Fixmer posted $100 and his driver’s license as bail and is to appear in court on May 15.

• A brown wallet containing $100 was reported stolen April 7 in the 0-99 block of Mayflower Drive.

• Maria C. Duran, 61, of the 0S500 block of East Street, Winfield, was charged March 23 with retail theft.

• A cell phone valued at $800 was reported stolen April 5 at Power Packaging, 1200 N. Raddant Road.

• A diamond ring valued at $3,500 was reported stolen April 5 from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Hanson Street.

• A resident of the 500 block of Iroquois Drive, reported April 5 that $1,378 was stolen through fraud and deposited in an unknown bank account.

• A desktop computer valued at $359 was reported shoplifted April 11 from Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road.

• Alcohol products and an energy drink valued at $19.37 were reported stolen April 10 from Shell, 164 S. Randall Road.

• Cosmetics and medical items valued at $439.83 were reported stolen April 10 from Target, 115 N. Randall Road.

• Tobias F. Granberg, 20, of the 200 block of North Lincoln St., Batavia, was charged April 10 with retail theft of less than $100 of merchandise at Katrina Salon and Spa, 8 N. River St.

• Property valued at $529 was reported stolen April 9 from Batavia Rehabilitation, 520 E. Fabyan Parkway.
