BATAVIA – The Holmstad retirement community is hosting a report on Rush University Medical Center's Memory and Aging Project at 10 a.m. April 23 in its auditorium. The Holmstad is located at 700 N. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia.
In this project, Holmstad and other local residents have been volunteering to have an annual cognitive testing, a neurological exam, blood draws, lifestyle questionnaires and brain donation upon death. The presentation will be an opportunity for participants to share their experiences with the study and for others to learn more about it.
For more information about the study, contact Susan Frick, social worker and education/recruitment coordinator, at 312-942-5359 or email@example.com.
