ST. CHARLES – St. Charles police continue to investigate a motorcycle crash Monday night that left a 28-year-old man dead.
At 8:19 p.m., the St. Charles police and fire departments responded to the 800 block of South Randall Road for a motorcycle crash involving injuries, according to a news release from the St. Charles Police Department. A 2006 Honda motorcycle being driven by a 28-year-old lost control and skidded into the raised center median, the release stated.
The driver was ejected from the motorcycle, which continued southbound into the intersection with Bricher Road, according to the release. The driver, who was the sole occupant, was pronounced dead on the scene, the release stated.
His name is being withheld pending notification of his family. There were no other injured parties involved, the release stated.
