AURORA – Police have identified the body of a man found along I-88 near Aurora as Gregory Prill, 33, of Aurora. The cause of death has not been released and the case is still under investigation, according to the Illinois State Police.

According to the police, troopers were dispatched to the scene around noon Monday and found the body in a ditch about 30 feet from the westbound lanes of I-88 at milepost 117, near the Aurora Toll Plaza.

State police crime scene investigators were called to the scene, and the body was later taken away by the Kane County Coroner's Office, police said.
