BATAVIA – The Batavia Park District's River Rhapsody Concert Series will welcome a wide variety of musical genres this season. The popular series kicks off at 7 p.m. June 12 at the Batavia Riverwalk with Brass from the Past, featuring the sounds of 60s and 70s horn bands. The concerts will be held on select Wednesdays throughout the summer from 7 -8:30 p.m. Alcohol is not permitted at the concerts. Concessions will be available on all concert dates, except June 12, courtesy of Bernie’s Bully Dogs. The Batavia Parks Foundation will also be offering a fun scavenger hunt during the concert on July 24.
Other musical acts scheduled to appear this year are Johnny Russler & the Beach Bum Band on June 19, Ethan Bell Band on June 26, The Sting Rays on July 3, Cadillac Grove on July 17, Billy Croft & the 5-Alarm Band on July 24 and Final Say on July 31.
