do-over.me hosts 5-year anniversary party in St. Charles

Nonprofit provides aid, support for job search

ST. CHARLES – Geneva nonprofit do-over.me will celebrate five years of teaching people how to look for work with an event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 1 at Global Brew Tap House, 2100 Prairie St., St. Charles, according to a news release.

The event will include food, beer, wine, games, music, special guests, prizes and a live auction to acknowledge the successes of the past five years.

Based in Geneva, do-over.me provides practical support that includes but is not limited to group mentoring, resume building and one-on-one coaching. Its goal is to empower others to seek positive change despite difficult circumstances, the release stated.

The nonprofit serves people age 16 and older in Kane, DuPage and western Cook counties, the release stated.
