RIVERSIDE – Auction action with an artistic flourish continues this week to support the Riverside Arts Center, concluding at an exhibit reception from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 24.
Viewing of the diverse array of auction items is offered from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 21 to 24 in the center's Freeark Gallery at 32 E. Quincy St., Riverside.
Admission is free to the Aug. 24 evening reception for the fine art auction and sculpture garden exhibit. The event will offer wine supplied by Riverside Foods, and grilled veggies by Bray Grove Farm.
The 2019 donating artists are Candida Alvarez, Joanne Aono, Karen Azarnia, Jeremy Black, Paul D’Amato, Ruth Freeark, Dan Gamble, Matthew Girson, Laura Husar Garcia, John Harmon, Anne Harris, David Hauptschein, Nancy Hejna, Jim Lutes, Judith Mullen, Yoonshin Park, Kim Piotrowski, Laurie Redden, Monica Rezman, Bruce Riley, Nina Rizzo, Camille Silverman, Jennifer Taylor, Tom Van Eynde, Michelle Wasson and Chris Ware.
Among the auction items is a condo stay in Akumal, Mexico, and two seats for a Chicago Bears game courtesy of Kim and Kris Freeark.
