Thornapple Questers to hold first Vintage Sale to help fund preservation efforts

GENEVA – Thornapple Questers will host its first Vintage Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 6 and Sept. 7 to raise money for local historic preservation efforts.

The Vintage Sale will take place at 402 S. 6th Street in Geneva. Members and friends of Thornapple Questers donated items being offered for sale, which include furniture, vintage radios, glassware, transferware, antique dolls, linens, jewelry, garden accessories and more.

Thornapple Questers is dedicated to promoting education, history, antiques and the preservation of historic sites and artifacts. One of almost 700 chapters that comprise Questers International, Thornapple Questers was formed in 1967.

Thornapple Questers has financially supported such local preservation efforts as Corron Farm, Jones Law Office, St. Charles History Museum, Preservation Partners and most recently the 1852 Whitney Schoolhouse.
