SUGAR GROVE – The Sugar Grove Public Library's Gallery 125 is hosting a show featuring the works of photographers and naturalists from the Kane County Audubon Society, the library announced in a news release. A variety of photographs of native birds and wildlife will be featured, along with information about birding.
Bob Andrini will co-curate the show, and will host a reception at the gallery from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 14 at the library. Patrons are invited to the reception, where they will can meet the photographers and learn more about the Kane County Audubon Society.
Andrini, a retired high school biology teacher for 33 years, engages in nature programs for the St. Charles Park District, leads trips for the Kane County Audubon Society and coordinates displays and presentations for the Audubon Society, the release stated. He will present a program for adults, “Fall Birds of the Midwest,” on Oct. 6 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Registration is now open for this event.
Other programs happening at the library on Sept. 14 include Read to Rover, Crafty Saturday and the Garden Work Day.
