Geneva D-304 to host forum on legal weed, teen health

Presentation includes guide on law, vaping, health

GENEVA — Geneva School District 304 will be hosting a presentation on recreational marijuana and teen health called Legal Marijuana: Now What? A Guide to the Law, Vaping & Teen Health from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 21 in the auditorium at Geneva High School, 416 McKinley Ave., Geneva.

Seating is limited and those interested in attending are encouraged to register online at www.geneva304.org.

The information will be presented by certified drug and alcohol counselor Matthew Quinn.

The event is free to attend and is meant for adults only.

Starting on Jan. 1, marijuana will be legal to use for those above the age of 21 years old in Illinois.
