BATAVIA – Batavia MainStreet is now accepting applications for the Batavia Boardwalk Shops. Eight 12x12 spaces will be available.
According to a news release from Batavia MainStreet, the Batavia Boardwalk Shops are designed to attract small businesses, create more retail shopping and bring people into downtown Batavia. The shops will be open from the end of May until the end of October for the 2020 season with eight distinctive new local businesses.
Vendors located in the shops will be exposed to traffic from the Batavia Farmers’ Market, Second Fridays and all other events held downtown. There will also be many promotions coming out of both Batavia MainStreet and the City of Batavia to attract patrons to the Boardwalk Shops, the release stated.
Applications are now available on downtownbatavia.com. Applicants are asked to make sure to read all vendor information for required hours, vendor fees, and other important information.
The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Feb. 21.
