Downers Grove Music Club to present 'Winter Interlude' artists

DOWNERS GROVE – A "Winter Interlude" concert will be presented by the Downers Grove Music Club Concert Series at 2 p.m. Feb. 9 in the partnering Downers Grove Public Library, 1050 Curtiss St.

It will feature a variety of musical artists, and includes selections for Valentine's Day performed by the Cove Creek Brass, whose players include David Patek and George Dzuricsko on trumpets; Liz Moog on horn; Corey Kirkpatrick on trombone; and Chris Miller on tuba.

Also performing will be the Monarch Winds with Laurel Tempas on flute; Mary Payne on clarinet: Robert Gordon on oboe; Amanda Karwoske on horn; and Jay Chen on bassoon. Les Trois Mesdemoiselles Musicales will feature Nancy Kandl on flute; Jacqueline Landis on oboe; and Janet Zuffa on clarinet. Also showcased will be Dan Moroz on saxophone with Dan Hennel on piano.
