ST. CHARLES – University of Illinois Extension offices in DuPage, Kane and Kendall counties have closed because of the health crisis, but still offer advice to communities.
“Illinois Extension continues to activate strategies at the state, campus and local levels to protect everyone’s health and safety,” Deanna Roby-Vorgias, county director serving DuPage, Kane and Kendall counties, stated in a news release.
Extension shares online resources
University of Illinois Extension has created a collection of resources to assist families and community leaders preparing for and coping with COVID-19. It is available online at go.illinois.edu/ExtensionCOVID19resources.
Locally, Illinois Extension also will continue to share at-home learning activities for youth, as well as nutrition and wellness tips on its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/extensiondkk, the release stated.
“We are working to support all Illinois families at this time,” Roby-Vorgias said. “We appreciate your support and understanding as we navigate this situation.”
