David averaged 12 points, 3.3 rebounds and nearly two assists per game. [Sandy Bressner - email@example.com]Thomas Ditsworth, St. Charles East, forward, senior: Ditsworth proved to be one of many standouts for the Saints, complementing Chase Monkemeyer and others to the tune of 10 points, four rebounds and nearly two assists per game. [Matthew Apgar - mapgar@shawmedia]Josh Hudgens, Burlington Central, forward, senior: Hudgens, a Carroll University commit, was a definite standout within the Fox Valley Conference and beyond for the Rockets. Hudgens averaged 12.6 points and 4.5 rebounds. [Sandy Bressner - firstname.lastname@example.org]Jayden Johnson, Batavia, forward, senior: Arguably one of the most under-recruited players in the area, Johnson was the lifeblood of Batavia for four varsity seasons. Johnson averaged 19.5 points, six rebounds and 1.3 assists per game for the Bulldogs, who made a regional final appearance. Received an offer from Illinois-Chicago this month. [Gregory Shaver]Jake Lenschow, Burlington Central, forward, senior: Perhaps quiet verbally on the court, Lenschow's game and impact certainly spoke volumes. Lenschow averaged a team-high 13.9 points per game, 6.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists. [Jeff Krage]Connor Linke, St. Charles North, forward, senior: The Kane County Chronicle Player of the Year, Linke blossomed into a true difference-maker in nearly every fashion on the court, helping guide the North Stars to a program-best 24 wins. Linke, a Bradley recruit, averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game.Chase Monkemeyer, St. Charles East, forward, senior: Monkemeyer produced consistent results on a nightly basis. He scored 12.7 points and grabbed 4.4 rebounds per game and also shot a sterling 48% from the field. Monkemeyer, a really gifted passer in the post, had 38 assists.Robert Nocek, St. Francis, forward, senior: Perhaps underrated for his overall impact, Nocek grew into a well-rounded force this season for the Spartans in their run to a sectional semifinal appearance. Nocek averaged 14.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.Josh Preston, Geneva, forward, senior: Preston usually commanded special defensive attention and delivered anyway on a nightly basis. The Vikings star and University of Chicago commit averaged 14 points, five rebounds and three assists per game. [Jeff Krage]Luke Scheffers, St. Charles North, guard, senior: A complete package as a point guard, Scheffers helped engineer the North Stars to a share of the DuKane Conference title and a sectional final. Scheffers averaged 11 points, four rebounds and nearly two steals per game.
