Music and more – special events planned Friday and Saturday in downtown Batavia

Extended shopping hours and live music will be part of the lineup of Second Friday on The Boardwalk in downtown Batavia from 6 to 8 p.m. July 10.

Performing will be Brother Ryan Music, and there will be pottery demonstrations with Tall Pine Pottery, a news release stated.

Check out the full lineup at downtownbatavia.com. Organizers said events can be enjoyed in person or virtually.

This Saturday, foodies will find Stojan's Vegetables as a pop-up vendor from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a variety of indoor and outdoor locally grown plants for sale.

Batavia MainStreet expressed gratitude to Stojan's for its donation of the beautiful planters along The Boardwalk.

People will find Stojan's regular farm booth weekly at the Batavia Farmers' Market taking place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays on North River Street.
