The 44th annual Fox Valley Folk Music & Storytelling Festival will be entirely online this year from Sept. 5 to 7, featuring two live stages streaming on Sunday and Monday afternoon, including one for storytelling. Mainstage music concerts are set for Saturday and Sunday evening, with a finale concert on Monday afternoon.
The live "Ghost Stories" concert returns Sunday evening, and a storytelling master class by Lyn Ford takes place Sept. 5, with pre-registration and fee required.

In announcing the show, organizers said there will be three stages videocasting from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday. The main music stage will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The ghost stories will unfold from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday. General admission for all entertainment is $45, or people may pay as they go.

A separate concert for folk music fans will be offered as a musical appetizer at 8 p.m. Sept. 4, presented by Two Way Street Coffee House in Downers Grove. The regular Friday night performance will star Sparky and Rhonda Rucker, in town for the festival. People may watch at Facebook Live (no Facebook account needed) or go to www.twowaystreet.org to livestream. Donations for this concert are welcomed to support the Two Way Street Coffee House, a folk institution.
